INTRO - Thank you, for your interest in our passion project - PROJECT ESCAPE -. We are now casting for a new type of indie film. and this film will take a high level of commitment and trust between the actors and the production. We have interest lined up with some major festivals and we are making this project for exposure.

FILM SYNOPSIS -
The Philippine 1970’s rock band “Don’t Stop”, three groupies along with an AWOL Soldier venture to a remote island in the Philippines. The unfortunate band of seven youths plan for peace, love, rock & roll. All the innocent group wants is a wild time but they find a primal fight for life but Everything was captured on 16mm film and found 40 years later. 

A documentary team relentlessly investigates the vintage found footage and the cover up. The team chases down every clue and the powers that be. Be apart of a new type of film, production and genera - AUDITION NOW!

CAST -
"JJ” - The classic short, insecure, high, tempered, Narcissistic, entitled, Talent-less Neapolitan syndrome type character. He believes he can buy anything and the harder the fight the more he wants it. He does not consciously know this but subconsciously his reward is the challenge and the prize. If he can not buy it he must have it! HE talks a good game about Fame and morality but he has never been put to the test. When push comes to shove at in the end he will do the right thing and sacrifice everything.
(Age 18-23) Fil-Am or Chinoy or Mestizo/Male/Short Stocky/Strong Personality/Singer

“Jobro” - The highly talented but shy Filipino boy next door that loves to sing and write music. He is extremely talented and is the definition born talented and he works even harder. Jay always had guitar on hand and music is his ticket. Jay only wants to break his families out of their poverty cycle. Jay has been weened on the school of hard knocks although do not underestimate his intelligence. If he ever got a chance his star would have shined bright. (Age 17-22) Filipino/Male/Polite & Very Respectful Personality/Athletic and Very Musical/Singer/Guitarist

“Bong” - Cool laid back pot smoking drummer that wants to be a film maker but his parents want him to follow in the family business. Developing and selling Kodak film. He is very talented but has little drive to make the big jump on his own. Bong loves to eat and He’s over weight because of it. He is a very nice generous guy life has been easy for him although not very good with the ladies and they tend to use him. As well as many of his friends. nothing seems to get him down and always has a smile on the outside.

“Roo” - An extremely high energy, wild, crazy, straight shooting, says it how it is, tall, big black, American, base player and army private. Grew up in NY, Georgia or some other interesting area with a strong accent. He was sent to Vietnam to avoid jail time for only one joint but the white guy got off that was just before his trial with only a warning for a pound of hash. The Judge did not understand what it was but if he had a pound of hash he would have gotten life. Life would be better than the shit he has seen. he enjoys like he has earned his right for respect. Let loose and enjoys life to the fullest and barks at the moon! WHAHOOO00! (Age 19-25) African-American/American & Extremely Extroverted/Male/Base Player

“Helena” - Rich, spoiled, popular, debutante, Mestiza that thinks things are all in place for a reason and her family are the chosen ones. She has never felt poverty yet she lives in the 3rd world. She befriends Olivia because she is curious why everyone likes Olivia so much. Olivia is taking a slight walk on the wild side before she ascends to her thrown and place in life. She is not a bad person and does not look down on people its just she is better than them. “I am right because we are rich and successful and you are wrong because you are not.” (Age 18-23) Mestiza/Fashionista and Proud of her Heritage/Female

“Olivia” - The highly intelligent but shy Filipina girl next door that loves to take pictures and sing along to herself. She had a simple upbringing but was lucky and smart enough to get a scholarship to receive the best education. Olivia will never fit in but she tried to blend in by dressing simple and conservative but her beauty always shines through. Although, the most beautiful thing about her is she dose not know how beautiful of a person she really is. (Age 17-22) Filipina/Female/Very Smart and Sweat/Musical

“Trisha” - A worldly young woman that has seen it all and lives life on the edge to piss off daddy. She has done it all and will do anything for a buzz. She is very promiscuous but only because she is proud in the new female liberation and celebrates to the fullest. “the 1970’s sexual revolution is here I’m on the pill and nothing bad can happen because you are enjoying some good sex unless it is bad sex”. Trisha is highly intelligent, traveled the world and educated at the highest level that can challenge the anyone. She is open for any kind of adventure. (Age 18-22) Open-International/Female/Very Adventurous and Worldly

- Audition Process -

Record the following on your phone, post online and email us the link with a short introduction. CC’ the audition of your manager or agent.  If you are a under 18 you must cc’ your parents with a permission letter from them to audition. Minors parents will be involved in the contract process and personally co-sign the contract. Do not worry if you have no agent or  manager please audition anyways.   1. Sing The Beatles Song Obladi Oblada - have a sing a long or put an original twist on the song. Do not worry you do not need to be Celine Dion but have fun!  (1 to 2 mins video only)  Song Link 
  2. DO ANY ACTION WHILE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF -  Do something while talking about yourself. For an example: Drink a cup of coffee, go for a walk, fry an egg and tell us a story, secret or anything about yourself. Its up to you what you DO AND SAY at the same time. (3 to 5 mins video only) Do & Say   
  3. BE AFRAID... REALLY AFRAID - Find a dark corner inside or out and be terrified but trying to stay quiet or they will find you. You are so scared this is difficult to do but you must video a message. The scene can be robbery, killer loose or kidnapers looking for you and you cannot get away. - Production Information -

Please note this is a personal passion project and an Independent project and the fees and terms are non negotiable do not apply if you are not okay with the following terms, vision and fees. We are blessed to have a budget but it is limited.

  1. Producing for exposure -  Any and all promotion, marketing, press releases, festivals, junkets, advertising, campaigns, media, interviews. Festivals and any and all exposure is our main focus for all involved. All of the above will be contractually shared to better everyone’s future endeavors the best possible. This film is to be produced to the highest level and quality possible any other motivation would nullify the above primary drive.
  2. Schedule - Filming 4 to 6 weeks. 4 week schedule plus a 2 week buffer in-case of issues to better the a film. 6 day work week and Sunday rest days.
  3. Internet - Everyone involved will have 2 hours a day access to the internet x 2 times per daytotaling 4 hours. This is a period piece and it is important you we must live in the moment for the betterment of the film and the performances. INCASE OF EMERGENCY 24/7 ACCESS IS PROVIDED TO EVERYONE.
  4. Privacy - No production pictures, or information of any kind will be posted, shared or released until after the films official release of the film to anyone. To increase the impact of the film and the impact your debut in the global film industry.
  5. Trust - This film will take a high level of commitment and trust between the artist, director and the production team. Any and all concerns should be communicated. We will have a qualified therapist and point person on staff to talk to 24/7 and the director/producer is available at all times.
  6. Unorthodox Process - The director ONLY has your interest at stake and therefore the film as well. This film it is of the upmost importance to believe in the unorthodox process and directing style. This method is in the interest of the actors, the performance and the film. We are producing this film to showcase your talent make you look good and intern making a great movie.
  7. Set - All talent and crew will be treated as equals in this production and team bonding will ensure everyone's success. This film is a chance of a lifetime for all involved and we need a higher level of team work.
  8. Food - All food request, restrictions and allergies should be made in advance.  We will do our best to make the set as enjoyable as possible with the best food and drinks possible.
  9. Re-numeration - 10,000 peso per week on set plus food, lodging, communication and transportation for all 7 ensemble cast members during production. 1,000 per day for all pre-production and post-production, training, travel and rehearsals.
  10. Please know this will not be an easy project but it will be a project that you will never forget. This project can change your life and we aim to build long lasting relationships and memories.
